Children’s weekly lessons
We’re passionate about teaching children to swim, keeping them safe in the water and opening up a world of enjoyment and adventure.
Our children’s swimming lessons take place on Wednesdays and Sundays. They cater for beginners and improvers and follow the ‘Swim England: Learn to Swim’ programme.
Our Swim England qualified teachers have many years of experience and a shared love for the sport. In our beginners’ classes, teachers are supported by water assistants, who help to boost swimmer confidence.
Our children’s weekly lessons take place at the following times:
Wednesdays
16:00 – 16:30
16:30 – 17:00
Sundays
11:00 – 11:30
11:30 – 12:00

City of Chester Swimming club also teach Learn to Swim sessions throughout the week:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays

Saturdays

Staying afloat takes a little help
Chester City Baths is a charity run by volunteers with paid lifeguards and a pool manager.
