Chester City Baths has always been enjoyed by the whole community and we want to share it with everyone. That’s why we hire out our magnificent Atlantic pool to clubs, schools and companies.

But we don’t stop there – the pool can also be hired for special occasions like birthday celebrations or family get-togethers. It’s the perfect place to hold your own pool party!

The Atlantic pool, at 25 yards x 10 yards, offers plenty of space for events, along with easily accessible facilities. Showers and changing cubicles are located on the poolside and we have male and female communal changing rooms with toilets. Spectators can sit back and watch the action from our beautiful viewing balcony.

Schools

We’ve welcomed generations of school children to our Baths and many schools hire our pool year-on-year. Offering flexibility, the Atlantic pool can be segmented to suit different classes and abilities. And the manageable size and contained nature of the pool area make it ideal for school swimming sessions.

Most importantly, schools have sole use of our communal changing rooms or poolside cubicles – offering safety and peace of mind. We can provide lifeguards and swimming teachers upon request.

    Chester City Baths is a charity run by volunteers with paid lifeguards and a pool manager. Sadly ticket sales alone don’t cover the costs of running our pool and maintaining the beautiful Victorian building it sits in.
