Volunteer

Chester City Baths is a charity run by a team of incredible, dedicated volunteers. Some volunteer on an ad hoc basis, helping us to maintain the pool and buildings, while others volunteer on an ongoing basis – offering their professional expertise or helping out day to day.

• Maintenance – we’re always in need of help with building and maintenance projects from people with engineering and systems experience (heating, ventilation, swimming pool machinery).
• Handy people – do you have a decent tool kit and know how to use it? Perhaps you could spare some time and indulge your passion for handywork by helping us out once in a while?
• Cleaning – this is such an important job and we’d love your help in clearing up the pool
• Business support – we’re always in need of people with administration, IT, marketing, and social media experience. Just a few hours of your time per month or week, would be invaluable.

Fundraise for us

• Fundraising Officer – we’re looking for a committed person with the passion and experience to create and arrange fundraising events. They’ll also need to liaise with members of the public, fundraising on behalf of the pool. Could this be you?

• Hold your own fundraising event to raise money for Chester City Baths
• Fundraise for us when you complete a physical challenge like Race for Life
• Raise sponsorship for the pool by speaking to local businesses who would like to partner with us

Become a Baths Sponsor – if you work for a local business and would like to find out more about our sponsorship opportunities or are interested in sponsoring the pool, we’d love to hear from you.
Our children’s swimming lessons take place on Wednesdays and Sundays. They cater for beginners and improvers and follow the ‘Swim England: Learn to Swim’ programme.

Sponsorship Officer – keen to help the Baths secure sponsorship? You could be our Sponsorship Officer! You’ll create relationships with local businesses and help set up sponsorship arrangements and promotions with them.
