We love being at the heart of the community and take great pride in being a valued part of historic Chester. We work alongside a plethora of important Chester groups and clubs.

Clubs
- The City of Chester Swimming Club
- Chester Sub-Aqua Club
- Chester Triathlon Club
- City of Chester Water Polo Club
- Schools – we support a number of local primary and secondary schools to help teach their pupils to swim safely and confidently
- Adult leisure swimmers – our adult leisure sessions help swimmers create connections with others and gain a real sense of community





Community groups
Cheshire West and Cheshire Council
We work collaboratively alongside the Council to access their funding channels and heritage grants, in order to safeguard the future of the Baths
Good for Nothing Chester (GFN Chester)
Local volunteer group accelerating positive change in our city. We work with GFN Chester volunteers to help develop ideas, create connections and support, and evolve our future plans.
Historic Pools of Britain
A charity that helps to celebrate, champion and campaign for historic pools, giving us a shared voice throughout the country, and providing opportunities for mutual support and learning
West Cheshire Voluntary Action (WCVA)
We work with WCVA who help us to promote the Baths in their newsletter, as well as helping us to source funding support
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme
The Council, alongside Edsential and a range of community partners, runs HAF across UK holidays, supporting us to provide free holiday swimming lessons for children and young people on benefits-related free school meals More info here
Learn2Swim
Our Learn2Swim places are reserved for kids on Free School Meals – these include free swimming lessons and packed lunches.
